When the problem does not fit a product.
Some property problems are too specific for a packaged installation: an abandoned lighting processor, tanks with no telemetry, a pump nobody can see remotely, or five good systems that have never been connected. Headland takes on that work directly.
What Headland can engineer
- Rescue orphaned controls. Recover legacy lighting and automation when the original dealer, software, or project file is gone, provided the hardware exposes a viable path.
- Instrument water and power. Add tank level, flow, pressure, pump state, leak sensing, whole-home energy, and circuit-level visibility with durable, serviceable hardware.
- Build the property network. Design reliable wired and point-to-point connectivity for houses, tanks, wells, gates, garages, cameras, and remote equipment.
- Connect existing systems. Bridge lighting, solar, batteries, cameras, irrigation, access, pools, and environmental controls into an owned local console.
- Document the site. Create the device library, spatial record, and working systems diagrams that make future service faster and safer.
How an engineering engagement works
Start with the problem, the equipment, and any photos or documentation you have. Headland will determine whether the next step is diagnostics, a field visit, a fixed-scope build, or a different licensed specialist.
Hourly engineering is scoped and approved before work begins. Larger work is quoted as a project. A paid assessment is credited when it becomes part of a full build.
